I'd never thought of this question before.

There exists a sort of unholy trinity concept in the Mystery School construct.

This plays out and is recorded in the book of Revelation in regards to the Antichrist, the false prophet and the spirit that binds the two.

This is best expressed as the Qliphodic aspect of the Tree of Life and is often penned as Vril.

I could absolutely see their being an actual anointing oil associated and remember reading something concerning certain oils to enhance the "spirit link" in practitioners of some Carrabean cult if I remember right.

All of those come from the passed down Babylonian system.

My recommendation for research would be looking into Nabatean or Druidic systems for information relating to anointing oil of this nature.
