Coming here and saying all we do is post youtube videos of what others have said is a bit disingenuous. You've been commenting on this thread long enough to know that. How about give some credit instead to those who have stuck it out to keep everyone informed of what Q is about? |

Very bad driving not doubt about it, and there did not appear to be a car stopped in front of her from the video. Driving to fast, the other cars moved to the side so they were not hit. It a lesson, never drive to fast, watch which lane you are in, either fast or slow lane. She hit her brakes to hard and that cause her to jack knife into a skid, that happens. This may teach her a lesson for future reference, young people do tend to not think about this type thing, invincible thing of youth. Sorry to get technical on you Hankie, but jackknifing refers to articulated vehicles (which is the type I used to drive) when they break too hard and the trailer bends away from the direction of the cab. |

I've spent many years on the road as an HGV driver, so my perception of other vehicles and how they react in situations is much better than the average persons. Class 1 driver's license...awesome! There were only 2 other women I knew of in the country in those days. Every male driver I met thought it was a great thing for us to be driving lorries also. The only one sexist male I ever came across was a stand in instructor for my regular guy who couldn't make it once, and I made a complaint against his attitude so they fired him. It was his job to train me, not give his opinion of me. |
