There were no financial or marital problems, no indication that he would do this. He had future plans (vacations, houseguest, etc), loved his family, and, the longer he stayed alive, the more money he made from 2 annuities. His most recent lab work said he had high iron levels in his blood. Covfefe? Suicide weekend? Did they inject the soldiers with something? My father came home from Vietnam with a brain tumor and a pancreatic tumor (both benign), and he always blamed Agent Orange. I saw a news story yesterday about the supposed-COVID death rate at a nursing home for Veterans (New Jersey, maybe?). Is this to cull the vets who are trained? Edit to add: he was O- and it was a Saturday. I am so sorry to hear that PC. Sending you a virtual hug and you know where the discord server is if you want to talk. Thank you. I know that searching for answers is common after a suicide, but something just feels off. He had groceries on the backseat and had rented a movie on TV for dinner and movie with my mom.
