Work is very busy for me, has been since the virus hit us here in Australia, I lost a lot of regular clients and booked work at that time.

I have been running my own business since 1990 and didn't want to close or have to rely on the government's job keeper benefit during the pandemic so went looking for work and struck gold illustrating story books!

Seems my style of illustrating hit the mark so have been flat out since 2020 illustrating book after book, some ready for publication others are spec books waiting for a publisher or funding to be printed but still paid work for me.

Why am I posting this? Mrs Tibbs health issues with her eyes has been an ongoing thing for over a year now, she has had one eye lens replacement surgery April this year and due for the second surgery on her other eye in the next couple of weeks.

Another health concern for Mrs Tibbs has surfaced from all her medical tests she has had, so as we were coming to an end for her eyesight concern, we now face another health issue.

How long not sure but with my work load and caring for Mrs Tibbs through our next health battle I may not be around much on this thread, I have been saving karma so I can upgrade myself for when things get interesting, I am thinking October.

I will still read and keep up with the thread in quiet times as much as possible and hopefully in a week or so when we get results back on Mrs Tibbs new health concern we will know what we are or aren't facing.

So I am positive, Mrs Tibbs is my sidekick in all things and we have still a lot to do ... together.
