Yes, there's a distraction element to this.
The main take-away is that parents were willing to spend so much to get their kids into an Ivy-League school.
Why? Once they have that degree from Yale or Georgetown, they then enter government service.
For the pay? No, the power. That is the center of power of our modern Soviet state. Unelected bureaucrats who craft law simply by writing it as regulation.
They enter service as a lowly GS-10, but due to their Harvard pedigree they find themselves as SES-level mandarins soon enough. That's where the real power of our government is.
That is what Trump is fighting. That is what we are fighting.
