If they could have gotten water carrying helicopters there quick, it is right by the water to fill up.

Shep just said they decided not to do that because water is heavy and they didn't want to collapse the structure which is such crap. They could have use the fire retardant that's put on forest fires which is like a light foam, they didn't seem to care at all, just let it burn.

What took them so long? Really outrageous!

someone on the qanon twitter feed is saying that the fire began in the front of the church and they're saying that many churches have been desecrated recently in the same manner.

Benjamin Hall saying it started in back and probably construction. So the poster on qanon twitter feed disagrees.

Oddly shep allowing speculation on that.

The fire has spread to one of the iconic notre dame towers per a seemingly unfazed shep...

If they got there faster it would not have spread no?

It closed at 6:45 pm and the fire started 15 to 20 minutes after it closed for the day.

So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!

Forest fire helicopters and planes and retardant are typically not available in cities, but closer to the large forests. And, in the cold season the crew are not on standby and it would take a couple of hours to get the first load in place.
