I read several of her papers. They were about morphogenesis of the wing, in particular the epithelium. Again, I found nothing suspicious, and I am always suspicious...And, I have an advanced degree in molecular genetics!

The only wild imagining one could make would be that the information on cell differentiation might be of value to someone working on cloning. But hey, I think if they can clone a sheep, they can clone humans. I suspect that goes on regularly.

Or, if you want to get very wild and unfounded, you could imagine someone made her an offer too good to refuse and she turned them down. But hey..show me some evidence.
