Tropical systems don't "soak up hot air"... they're fueled by the warm water in the Gulf. It's all about moisture and wind sheer, NOBODY around here relates hurricanes to "hot air". That's got to be a message to someone. . Thanks for pointing that out. And I have never heard anyone say "my y'all" -- and I've lived in NC for almost 30 years. Message? Exactly. Lived in Eastern NC my whole life and never heard anyone say that. She is trying to get a message to someone ....
