Republican California Rep. Paul Cook said Tuesday that he will not be seeking reelection and will instead run for his county supervisor seat.

Cook was elected to Congress in 2012 and is currently in his fourth term. He will reportedly announce his campaign to represent the 1st District of the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors, according to The Los Angeles Times. Cook served as Mayor of Yucca Valley and in the state legislature before being elected to Congress. He also served as an infantry officer in the Marines.

This all comes as a number of other Republican lawmakers in the House have announced they will not be seeking reelection. Cook is now the 18th House Republican Representative to announce they will not seek re-election in 2020. Cook serves on the House Committee on Armed Services and House Committee on Natural Resources.

Many atheists and agnostics have a negative reaction to prayers said for them, CNN reported Monday, so Christians should probably keep them to themselves to avoid offending others.
Citing a recent study, CNN said that “some atheists and agnostics would pay money” to avoid having prayers sent their way after suffering a natural disaster such as a hurricane.

Ok, so now let's talk about Spygate/FISAgate...does anyone else find it odd that Christopher Steele was "desperate for Trump not be President?" Why is that? But what do I know. I am just some housewife in Florida...

I never talk about my personal life here, but I want to share something that I think may resonate with some Patriots who love their countries (but especially Americans) and explain my frantic post yesterday:

When I was a child, my dad worked for ARAMCO, and we lived in Saudi Arabia. Though born in USA into an all-American family, we had moved there when I was an infant, which meant that I had no true knowledge of USA except for the short repat trips we would make a few times a year.

While living there, I saw true oppression - like being ushered out of the Khobar market because a slave had been accused of murder and drug out into the street for a beheading without any due process. Or the time my mother was sexually assaulted by all-male airport 'security' under the guise of of a strip search predicated upon nothing but a pair of L'Eggs pantyhose in her suitcase. Or the time my mom was beaten in the streets for having a wisp of ankle showing while my father was powerless to stop it. Or the multiple times my sister and I had our blonde hair ripped out, cut off, and pulled as we walked by (we were pre-pubescent, so we didn't have to cover our hair yet. Blonde hair is considered 'lucky' over there). Or watching my dad literally risk his life to smuggle in a Bible and our blackmarket Christmas tree every year. I watched as burqa-clad, western, women would remove their coverings as soon as we were in international airspace. I watched as those same women, and their husbands - grown men, some likely CIA since ARAMCO was a CIA front - fall to their knees in tears and literally kiss the filthy ground at Kennedy or La Guardia as soon as we disembarked the plane.

People in America don't know TRUE oppression. Not even the minorities. They think they do, but they have zero perspective. I had massive Culture Shock when we moved back to USA. It took years to let go of the daily fear that oppression causes and to allow myself to just be a kid in America. And once I let go of that fear, I basked in my Freedom - a Freedom only found in the United States of America. I soaked it up more than I had soaked up that blazing, desert, sun. I had actually been to European countries more than I had been to USA, and I still never felt the freedom in those other Western nations that I felt at home.

And, consciously or not, I decided to never live in fear again. I would never allow myself to be crippled by fear, especially at the threat of violence, and I would never live under tyranny like that ever again. But what I see going on is bringing back those fears. I see tyranny and oppression at my doorstep now instead of in a country halfway across the world. And instead of being crippled by it, I am trying to DO something - anything - to stop what is encroaching. I contact my Congress Critters regularly. I show up at City Council Meetings. I go to School Board meetings despite homeschooling because I care about the future of America. I worked on my sibling's election campaign (my sibling is a White Hat, and, no, my dad was not CIA despite working for ARAMCO). I talked to everyone I knew about voting Trump in 2016 (and I'll do it again in 2020) and stayed up all night that night in November despite being exhausted and bedridden from cancer surgeries and treatments. I have done podcasts and stand-up comedy a la George Carlin trying to spread the word. I have spent many nights digging and digging trying to unravel this tangled web. In other words, I have done something - anything - besides turn a blind eye or be crippled by fear. And I am ready for some action from my leaders now because I don't know what else to do. But I am just 1 person. I have tried to be a modern-day Paul Revere, screaming at the sleeping masses about that encroaching shadow of oppression, but the longer that goes on without any action, the more my fear, itself, tries to bind me with it's own self-imposed oppression.

Please. Please, Americans. You have no idea what we have here - a Heavenly treasure on Earth. Something that can be spoken of in words and grand ideas but only truly intimated by innate knowing or primal instinct. Our greatest gift, besides Salvation, was Free Will, which some Classical Liberals exercised to build a great Nation that enshrined that Free Will into actual Freedom under the philosophy of Natural Law. Please protect the Bill of Rights. Please do not be silent. Please do not go gently into that good night.

That last bit reminded me...anons used to do something called "Protest the Fed," where, in open-carry states, they would just stand, PEACEFULLY and silently but armed, outside the district Federal Reserve buildings. Sometimes peaceful and Free Speech doesn't have to come from our tongues...
