In his latest battle with the American news media, President Trump is bringing out the heavy artillery: Marine One.

Since abandoning the daily press briefing, which had sunk into an embarrassing spectacle where journalists would bully former press secretary Sarah Sanders, the White House now favors “chopper-pressers” where the boss interacts with the media while his helicopter idles nearby.

Like his use of Twitter, Trump’s impromptu gaggles frustrate the media and enable him to control the message for the day.

There is no camera on the press, only Trump. You usually can’t hear the questions on television, only the answers. It takes away the media’s ability to grandstand. There are no Jim Acosta moments.

Governor two-some Newsome just signed into law a gun grabbing bill that will allow cops to break down your door and confiscate your firearms if someone complains they feel threatened.

A neighbor, a relative or co-worker simply has to feel threatened, complain to the police, then make a formal sworn statement ... what they are saying it truthful, then the judge gives the cops a warrant to go into your house and take your guns. The main point is this. Someone complains they feel threatened, the cops are given a search warrant, and you KNOW how cops use a search warrant. They knock once then kick the fucking door in with guns pointed at your head.

This IS the Red Flag Law everyone has talked about. Now it's for real here in California.

California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed 15 gun-related bills into law Friday, tightening the state's already-stringent Second Amendment restrictions.

One of the bills, which expands a so-called "red flag" law to allow co-workers, employers and educators to seek gun violence restraining orders against firearms owners they fear are a danger to themselves and others, was vetoed twice by Newsom's predecessor, Jerry Brown.

Newsom also signed a companion bill allowing the gun violence restraining orders to last one and five years...
