These self-identifying (and their OWN LANGUAGE speaking)
people should be allowed to become independent for real, IMO:
Basque Country
Catalonia
Hong Kong
Scotland
Not counting autonomous areas w/ depencies - There already is so many small countries,
city states and tiny island independencies - Why not allow a few more?
Only voluntary unions and slow integrations will endure the test of time.
Fast-tracked and forced alliances never last (EU aka Soviet Union Light 2.0 is doomed to fail)!
