More than 1,100 former Justice Department employees signed a public letter Sunday urging Attorney General William P. Barr to resign over his handling of the case of President Trump’s longtime friend Roger Stone — and exhorted current department employees to report any unethical conduct. “Mr. Barr’s actions in doing the President’s personal bidding unfortunately speak louder than his words,” the Justice Department alumni wrote in the letter posted online. “Those actions, and the damage they have done to the Department of Justice’s reputation for integrity and the rule of law, require Mr. Barr to resign.”
Signatures for the letter were gathered by Protect Democracy, a group that has been critical of Barr’s handling of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into Russian election interference and Trump.
The letter acknowledges there is little chance the signatories’ criticism will lead to Barr’s departure, adding, “because we have little expectation he will do so, it falls to the Department’s career officials to take appropriate action to uphold their oaths of office and defend nonpartisan, apolitical justice.”... ... ... Have you noticed it is alway ex this and ex that which run their mouths about someone being fired or you have to believe them, no we don't. Since POTUS is the head of the DOJ... and can hire/fire as he deems necessary... this is a great way to get the swamp kreatures to stand up and say "I AM A SWAMP KREATURE, I DARE YOU TO FIRE ME!" POTUS should just say.... Okay. You're Fired.... but he should do it on live TV broadcast, so We can "ENJOY THE SHOW" Lol!! Ex-Swamp Creatures that still have a lot of pull. Proves you don't have to have an active position to still be part of the club. Thugs for Life, huh? Trump has been positioning Patriots into the positions that matter. They've been slowly firing the worst trouble-makers so the Plan can go ahead. When the Storm hits, these swamp creatures will be the first to go. Probably along the lines of "Institution/Organisation/Department XXX is so corrupt, we need to restructure and start over, so we're firing everyone and hiring from scratch." Would be awesome if they bring each individual into the Oval Office for a personal debrief and "You're Fired" moment, and videotape it for posterity, so we can watch it for decades to comes, choking on our popcorn. "See, kids, this is what happens when you lie. The lies get bigger and bigger, then you turn into a Swamp Creature, and we all know what happens to Swamp Creatures, don't we?"
