The more I look at both pictures, the more I see multiple faces, so maybe I should just quit looking, or I could become as insane as Jim Comey. The guy has to be communicating something to someone, especially with the picture of the horse "just out standing in the field", and the field is next to a darkened and foreboding treeline, and the horse seems to have faces on its belly. "Outstanding" has always been a favored Marine Corps word. Regardless, Comey is either communicating something, or Comey is simply crazy.

Did anyone catch this today? I thought it was a cool start!

In Oregon, three Republican lawmakers have joined a lawsuit filed by ten churches and more than a dozen faith leaders on May 6 against Gov. Kate Brown (D), demanding they be permitted to reopen their houses of worship.

Willamette Week reported Monday State Sen. Dennis Linthicum and State Reps. Bill Post and Mike Nearman signed on as petitioners.

“We are very concerned that churches and other places of worship are not being treated in the same manner as, say, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Target, Walmart and other large corporate stores,” Post said. “I was in my Keizer Lowe’s this past Saturday, and there were well over 1,000 people in the store at one time.”

The lawsuit notes, according to the Baker City Herald, that because Brown has not convened the state legislature since declaring a state of emergency on March 8, further emergency orders are unconstitutional.

“Because governor failed to avail herself of the constitutionally prescribed procedure, her initial executive order declaring the public health emergency, issued on March 8, 2020, terminated by operation of law on April 7, 2020, and all subsequent executive orders implementing or extending the original order are legally null and void,” the lawsuit states.

“She’s giving herself powers to infringe on constitutional liberties in perpetuity,” said Ray D. Hacke of the Pacific Justice Institute in Salem, which represents the churches and the individuals. “And she can’t do that.”

Denver orders closure of USPS facility that handles mail for all of Colorado, Wyoming

DENVER (KDVR) — The City and County of Denver on Thursday ordered the closure of a United States Postal Service distribution center. According to the city, the state of Colorado has reported “multiple confirmed COVID-19 cases” among employees at the facility. The city did not disclose how many confirmed cases there are at the distribution center. FOX31 and Channel 2 have reached out to the city for those details. “The area the investigators were able to make observations from was a small public-facing space in comparison to the entire distribution warehouse buildings. It can only reopen with DPHE approval, the city said.

However, the USPS said it was keeping the facility open.

James Boxrud, a spokesperson for the USPS in the West, said the facility is federally owned and operated, and it is committed to following all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Boxrud added that the Postal Service is an essential function under federal law during an emergency.

He issued the following statement, in part:

“We strongly disagree with the Denver Public Health order, which was made without a visual verification, without advanced coordination with the team of postal employees working on these issues with Denver Public Health, and without the understanding of the Postal Service’s substantial, ongoing efforts to protect its employees and the public.

This closure notice, citing no adverse findings, has the potential to impact stimulus checks, prescription medications, personal correspondence, and vital goods delivered to the more than 6.5 million customers who live in Colorado and Wyoming.

We have provided Denver Public Health the necessary documentation to satisfy their inquiry and are confident the order will be rescinded.”

On Monday, a post office near the University of Denver has remained open despite receiving orders to close.

Many of her colleagues went on to lose their seats due to backlash from labor unions.
