And  When you go on the coke tour in atlanta you can taste coke as it's distributed around the world. Everyone else in the world basically drinks coke without sugar, some of it, to us tasted absolutely horrendous. God knows how much sugar and salt we consume, hidden in all our food, and soy, which appears to be in everything, beyond what is normal and beyond what folks in other countries consume or would find palatable. The "good ole days" when coke actually had sugar in it! Our local bottler was one of the last ones in the US that used sugar until "new coke" came out. When ever we went on a trip we'd bitch about the coke not tasting right. People used to not drink many types cokes of any kind, they did notice it wasn't as good as before years ago, actually I think it was when I was a young person. They would buy a coke after a long day of work, of course it helped them a lot, a cold drink from a bottle that had real coke in it, cocaine I believe it called. They took it out, and the reasons they had bought it in the first place, it seemed to help their tired muscles and bones. Later it was messed up being put in plastic bottle which did not have the taste it used to have. Sugar cane sugar doesn't hurt anyone except diabetics, others it gave a energy boost even without the coke.
