So when we say that the US government is controlled by this powerful deep state shadow government, we are giving the US government LOTS of credit it probably doesn't deserve - when in reality they are generally run by a bunch of morons no smarter than you or I. That said, the real "deep state" are the superPAC lobbyists that use campaign donations to pressure elected officials (on both sides of the aisle) into pushing their preferred policies. We remove super PAC, we remove 90% of the non-elected bureaucrat influence. Just my $0.02. |
