I am really getting close to selling everything I own, buy a tent, and get on my bike and live off the land. I am so tired of needing money just to survive. I have been looking at past threads here on GLP people who have done it or want to. I am so tired of this rat race we call life.

I love America (in not from here originally), but damn, it's expensive. Everything is DEBT, any which way. This is something we can all agree on. On leftist think socialism is the answer to their woes. It most certainly isn't. We're fucked either way.

That they are the most enslaved or that they are kept in golden cages?

If you think they are the most enslaved you never met islam or any muslim. Their religion even is named ENSLAVEMENT (some say SUBMISSION) and muslim means ONE WHO SUBMITS/SLAVE in English.

They celebrate their enslavement.

Also some of the enslaved chinese live in better golden cages, same goes for Swedes.

So I don't think you know much about the world.

First and foremost when we are born, we are born into enslavement of sin. Those are the first chains in need of breaking. Unfortunately, I know more than I ever thought or fathemed even 20 years ago of the people and the powers.

The best way out is to disconnect yourself from the system in as many aspects of life as possible. You don’t need to move into the wilderness.

For me, I am relieved living here. Life is more relaxed, and I have very little stress. Personal freedom is much higher here. I earn in dollars working online for a US company and so I enjoy a much higher quality of life thanks to the exchange rate and lower cost of living here. For me, this made all the difference.

People will say you are a traitor or a quitter - fuck them. Life is about YOU and those you care about. I don’t live my life to do what others think is best for me, nor do I live my life to impress them. They have no idea that they are sheep and slaves, and so their opinion is of zero value to me.

I’m happy here. Like, truly happy. I surround myself with great people and I continue to learn and grow here as a person, something that’s hard to do in the US when facing the typical day-to-day stresses of the slave life.

There’s always multiple paths out, OP. Don’t think you need to go live in a tent just to be happy. If that would truly make you happy, then do it... But you might be happier living in a small beach shack in the middle-of-nowhere carribean. The choice is yours, nobody else’s. I encourage everyone to follow their hearts and stop making excuses for why they “can’t” do what they really want to. If you want out, get out. The first thing to do is make a plan.
