Im willing to bet that medically it was probably beneficial, even too the child's developing brain. But that is just speculation.. Funny to consider though that we think nothing of giving babies a drink of tea, which contains the drug caffeine.

End of the day, what your seeing here is an overreaction and fear of the demonized ~"marijuana" that has been drilled into people over the years by the government, who for whatever reasons have an agenda to keep it illegal based on contrived and inaccurate studies/evidence.
If it was allowed to be researched freely, then we could possibly end up at some point in the future where cannabis is reclassified and ends up as a medicinal product useful even for treating children... Im just saying its a hypothetical possibility.
