I really pisses me off that all the Trump supporters are falling for this and responding exactly the way the establishment hoped they would. Trump is only partially to blame for this. He did not see the establishments plan until it was too late and that is his fault.

BS. He could have taken his time to know what was in the bill before signing it. There are no excuses left for him. He knew what was in and he signed it. Why can't you not all see what's going on here?

He has never shown much or enough interest in liberals and conservatives, and the differences between libtardism and conservatism.

He seems more interested in general qualities of people, such as their loyalty, grooming, height, cleanliness (he is a germaphobe, after all). But he apparently can be very accommodating of people like his liberal daughter due to his not being philosophically astute and well-grounded enough.

I bet his first question about other people is, how loyal and friendly will he or she be? Not, how conservative or liberal will he or she be?

What the hell does "Omnibus" mean?

Sounds like it's named the "Ominous Bill."

Ominous - giving the impression that something bad or unpleasant is going to happen; threatening; inauspicious

Excuses will not help Trump now.
All Trump had to do was stick to his campaign promises and he has already abandoned them!

I don't think Trump even understands the full significance of what the establishment has just done to him. He is probably starting to understand and that was why he put out the veto threat. Keep in mind the establishment wants nothing more than for Trump and his supporters to go away so they can continue to run the show like they always have. They don't really care if Republicans lose in the mid-terms. The establishment and their way of operating the government is way more important to them than either side losing or winning a few members. This bill was DESIGNED to be a huge FU to Trump voters. I guarantee you establishment Republicans and Dems are celebrating tonight because they have finally succeeded in driving a wedge between Trump and his base. It is a sad day.
 Quoting: LoneStarRising

this is probably true.. but it doesnt matter..

it shows us trump is weak.. and a puppet to the deep state...

we didnt vote for a puppet who will bow down and do what hes told to do...

we voted for a guy who will say "FUCK YOU DEEP STATE"

trump didnt do that.. therefore he lost his base.. fair and square

Not good to sign any contracts during a Mercury Retrograde...

"DON'T sign contracts, make verbal agreements or life altering decisions. DO renegotiate, mediate and reconsider existing ones.
This might be the most widely known tip about Mercury Retrograde, but it bears clarification. If at all possible, avoid new agreements! Because once you sign the dotted line or give that handshake, you will likely find that a series of events or misunderstandings cause the initial pact to change or fall apart. Instead, this is a good time to consider a renegotiation. Is your lease up for renewal on your apartment? Now is the time to either shop around or do research on a better agreement to propose to your landlord once Mercury turns direct."

Only Trump could do that. If he vetoed...even if they had overridden it, he wouldn't have lost support....HE HAD TO VETO IT.

Cat hearding. One day he's the smartest man alive and the next, leave Trump alone he's doing the best he can. Either he's truly an idiot and the dems fooled him to sign the bill, or he's truly a genius playing 36DD chess. One of them is right and one is wrong. He knows exactly what he's doing and that's not giving a shit about his base.

There are no mistakes in politics. Political science is the most controlled and understood science on the planet. They do not fuck up with this shit and if they say they did, best start looking for the hidden end game because I can guarantee you it's not for anyone's benefit outside the swamp.

As Carlin put it, it's a big club and you ain't in it.

It was a big middle finger to Trump voters and a major bitch slap to Trump from Ryan, McConnell, Pelosi, and Schumer.

They are probably laughing their asses off right now while popping the cork on the champagne.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45004603

Ryan and McConnell should be strung up by their testicles. They just f*ck their own party and President out of loyalty to the establishment.

At least we'd have all been united to hang all of the fucking traitors. Now we get to sit divided and watch as asshole Trump slowly fucks everything up.
