While I've never read anything specific concerning game plays, the principles outlined in that thread are exactly in line with what I have hoped Trump is actually staging.
Nothing less makes sense to me. Without having faith that this is, *must be*, the process he's employing, it would be easy to lose hope.
The recent John Bolton appointment comes to mind.
What I believe I have noticed is that each such move allows the 'sins' of those parties to be openly discussed anew, refreshing memories while informing those who had no idea.
Even before the moment 'chatter' starts on the front end, the back end web is being studied anew and parsed to reveal, and/or confirm, any elements that were cleverly hidden or kept out of view otherwise.
It allows fresh eyes for the Administration's purposes, that would otherwise have only old, potentially severely biased, intel to depend on, that has already been whitewashed, then conveniently forgotten.
You can't drain something you can't locate.
