Can you get enough thrust to get ultra light aircraft off the ground with bladeless fans?

Using tech like a Dyson air multiplier could it be possible to generate enough thrust to get low weight drone or aircraft off the ground?

You do realize that Dyson creates a low pressure (vacuum) right?

There is only 14.7 psi (absolute pressure at sea level) available to achieve this.

Not going to happen.

Tough call. They weigh more, but entrain more air at low speeds.

Interesting... their propeller design inside is meant for quiet low output. That would have to be changed for a design that is meant for maximum and noise output. The air off the foil design claims to be 15 xs higher thrust.

I have a 3D printer. Going to start designing the parts to replace the bottom half of the ring air foil.

Have you seen the ring paper airplane?

glides very well. If you could incorporate the two you could be on to something.
