How did Jeremy Renner become a big movie star?

do women find him that attractive? do men relate to him in some way? what am I missing here?

he comes across like he was delivering copier toner to a studio office in Hollywood while there was some crisis and their lead actor had just dropped out and they said "hey kid, how about you? do you wanna be in the movies?"

he seems uncomfortable on screen in scenes with other actors. wooden, dull, boring, underplayed to the point of tedium. I can understand when a guy is handsome getting ahead in a visual medium but he's mr average looking.

did you ever hear anyone say, "that movie was good, but it would have been better with Jeremy Renner in it."?

and it's not like he's some bit player only noticable every now and then, he is in lots of major stuff. how did he do it? he reminds me of that 'lead guitar' player in Foo Fighters - a total faker with no chops.

He actually drags down the tempo when he appears in the Mission Impossible movies

I don't like him.
