It is a trustless system. It cannot be artificially inflated like the fed has done with the dollar. No one knows how many digital and paper dollars are in circulation. So there a few in the 'in club' that can print off or create digital money out of thin air with no oversight for themselves. Thereby lowering the value of your dollars when they do. They don't give a fuck about you.

With cryptos, there is a finite amount and every single coin is accountted for and verified in a distributed system. It is a trustless system that eliminates the need for centralized control.

In one last thought, if you think the market is down let's take a look at the prices from one year ago for bitcoin, litecoin and ethereum.
