If someone, anyone would read the user agreement it has been from the conception and launch disclosed that all these social media sites are public information that the user willingly surrenders into the public forum for whomever and however it may be used.

This is beyond outrageous.

For a price, some $63Billion, Zuckerberg has done immeasurable damage to public trust and even probably to society itself.

How can any of us trust and respect anything any online apps and service providers tells us anymore?

There were never conspiracy theories about Facebook. Only conspiracies that were yet to be uncovered.

Yet Zuckerberg still considers himself to be competent and trustworthy enough to continue running this monumental scam. if you or I had scammed a quarter of the people in our streets or towns , we'd be locked up for a very long time.

If he had any shame he would bow out grovelling in abject apology and live out his life in deep obscurity, never getting himself involved in anything to do with the public again.

I did this too, and disabled nearly everything in the settings and blocked apps and invite requests for apps. I also stopped posting a couple years ago, not that I ever posted much. I don't have FB on any mobile devices, and I have FB disconnect on my browser. I saw once that Facebook thought I was probably a liberal, so I guess I did a good job.

I also have a few other profiles with other incorrect info and photos. Incorrect ages, locations, genders, interests, made up friends (some of my alternate profiles are friends with my other alternate profiles), profile photos off the internet that aren't even people. So I gave them a bunch of junk data for their database. I use one of my other identities whenever I want to comment somewhere or do something that requires a FB login.
