I am interested.

Ability to see magnetic lines

If birds gavevitbdo otger animals have it?

How can a protein allow something to see what others canít.

I know that birds are able to see on the ultraviolet light spectrum while humans cannot. I don't know if that enables them to see magnetic fields though.

Re: Wildlife wandering in the streets "Zombie" raccoons - Something strange in the sky-Science now confirms birds have a protein in eyes so they
I saw a "zombie raccoon" today. Actually, my lab found it first. It was very strange. This one was in the woods and it didn't run from my dog. It only arched it's back a little to scare my dog. When I went over to it (to put my dog on a leash) it climbed a couple of feet up a tree and sat there gnashing it's teeth at me. I got within 10 ft of it and decided not to get any closer. As soon as I walked away, it climbed down and sat on the ground again.

Last week, my daughter's neighborhood had a skunk wandering the neighborhood all week. When it decided to camp out on her neighbor's lawn, who happens to be a state cop, he shot it. They said there was definitely something not right about this skunk.

I spend a lot of time outdoors and do wildlife photography. My opinion on this is the weather we've been having in PA. I don't know about the skunk, but I would say the raccoon was most likely in a tree that fell in the high winds we've been having and most likely has a head injury. We've had 4 nor'easters, one with 60 mph winds, and yesterday, we had a cold front come in, and that brought 60 mph winds. Trees are down all over the place, and I lost power twice yesterday. Not sure about these other "zombie" raccoons, but I can positively tell you that now is when they are nursing their babies in the hollows of these trees, most hollow trees are dead and fall easily in high winds.

UV light fascinating. The cycle of time is upon us. Now we began to understand all the sun worship In Egypt and Peru. Plus sun temples at Chichen Itza and Teotihuacan. The seals have been broken.....
