Will China just buy us farmland when it's price crashes and then grow the tariffed crops?

many Asian countries do not allow foreigners to buy property or real estate.

China will probably take over a few corrupt African countries. Grow everything they will ever need. They've been building in Africa for awhile now.

And the U.S. Farmers would lose a massive customer forever perhaps. Got to be careful with the inevitable tariff responses.

You don't need to be careful...it's long past due and needs to be done. It really is that simple. America is self sufficient We export more than we consume on most products and we now export more oil than import. The world needs us...we don't necessarily need them.

Now that we are reviving the steel mills, coal, oil in many forms, etc....we will once again reign supreme. Long live this great Country!

Don't forget also that China's quality and manufacturing are really nowhere near the quality that the US produces.

China devalues it's currency all the time to make sure their goods remain cheap for export. They can't sustain this at all and will lose in a trade war.

They know this and they are going to posture but in the end they will come around.

US exports might be dramatically cut in a trade war. Farmers are rightfully concerned about losing their largest export market. Hope things are settled around a table and all sides get what helps their citizens.
