They try to reel you back in, with the attitude that it is somehow your fault. They want you to feel guilty, to feel like you haven't had the right thoughts or haven't worked hard enough.

Well it is not your fault. If you did good, that is still good. You are good and ought not feel guilty about anything. If you aren't perfect, then so fucking what?

You are not some slave to a religion. You can still have a good attitude if you choose to. Choose to do so above all else. Don't let your religion drag you down. You don't have to reject it, but you should put it in its place.

Why not pray for well being, happiness, good health. Have faith and pray that you may recieve a blessing. Pray that the health and well being of your friendsand family be good instead of praying for a bag of money or holding out faith to win the lottery.
Undertake a challenge in your life and pray that you may succeed instead of wishinng for a new car or new house or a pretty wife or a bag of money.

We have all been there OP just thank God that You don't have a family to support. When You finish picking up the pieces Your top priority should be learning a trade like mechanic, electrician, plumber, & welder so You can have marketable skills to sell. You need to forget college because it's a fucking scam and they provide no skills which need to be acquired on the job.

I agree. Many in the private sector have to work more than one job, have no or shitty benefits with hardly any time off and make less than teachers. No paid holidays or months off every year. Health insurance increases eat up any raise you might get so your buying power goes down every year while the price of everything else goes up. We can't vote ourselves a raise or better benefits and have tax payers pay for it. We are just told, "If you don't like it here, go somewhere else."

Don't let the dipshits get you down, OP. They are everywhere and you can't get away from them. You are depressed and need to find a way to snap out of it. I have worked for 40 years in manufacturing and my buying power has diminished to the point I am living paycheck to paycheck. I just had a few tests done and now am paying off medical debt even with health insurance. I was depressed at first but keep telling myself that others are in worse shape than me. God gave us free will and won't interfere until we have ruined most of what He created and we're doing an awesome job at it. Try to break that depression somehow and find some peace. Sending hugs and healing prayers to you.

I’m s shitty situation at the moment as well op won’t bore anyone with the details. I am/was a Christian giving up on Jesus/God realizing it’s all a money making/control scheme. By the people in charge not the people. I was basically neutral as far as beliefs go not atheist but believed in a god nothing more. My wife found Christianity and to appease her I went along but in my heart it didn’t feel right. More excuses than answers. Everything good was God and everything else was the enemy? Left me feeling desperate and alone (I never felt like this prior) because I was not “all in” like the rest of the group at church. Felt like an outsider which Again never did prior to attending. Ultimately has led to my divorce and not having contact with my children. Tried consultation with pastor and other members of the church but when things got bad no one was there to help because I was not “all in” read this book pray etc. Truth is most of these people are raised in the church “what ever religion you choose” and only understand how to function within the confines of there beliefs. I don’t think they are bad people but just don’t understand how someone could be “struggling” to them. I have come to the conclusion that I in my heart believe God exists but we are basically his unwanted children and not worthy of his concern. If the Bible was true according to Christianity and that it can be summarized in one word LOVE than why when people all over the world are suffering “his children” why would/does he simply ignore us? Spare me the typical free will etc explanations they all have holes in them. I am going back to my default I believe there is a god but not trying to understand/read into it any further because ultimately you will have to rely on a humans belief/understanding. This is where the control take effect can you relate? I know I am not the only one in this place and feel hopeless for my wife/soon to be ex and my kids because they are all in and I am under the influence of the enemy (so the feel).

LOL! Go try being a teacher. It is f*cken hell in 2018. 70% of people that go into teaching quite and leave the profession within four years. * hour a day is just the contract day. You wind up working 12 to 16 hours days.

Teacher spend a lot of money out of their own pocket for classroom decoration, students supplies, materials for lesson plans, incentives for kids, clothes and food for kids, prepping on the weekends, hardly sleeping all week crash sleeping on week ends. Putting other peoples kids before your own, while you end up caring about other people kids more than they do themselves. Lots of crappy parents out there in the community that teeter totter on a CPS visit. You know the types. The ones shopping at 11 pm at night with their kids in tow on a school night. Then there is all the diversity and the issues that brings. Laws , schedules and timelines to adhere too. Not much freedom to do what really needs to be done. You don't get to pick and chose students. You get what you get and have to work with it.

Unless teach works in a upper middle class, small, homogeneous community. Teaching sucks!

I know what you are tryin' to say.. When I was well, full of cash, with great job I was telling the same things like "everything will be ok/you will work it out!/give it a time!"

Yeah.. now I see that this was bs. The thing is that in 2 days I have to pay my rent and I don't have it. Luckily my landlord is good man and I guess he will wait few more days, maybe one/two weeks. But I need to borrow money from someone and my choices are limited :( In 3 weeks I will have to make first payment of my medical bill. I'm waiting for the answer from my good friend, I know him since highschool. Maybe he will help me but I doubt it, he isn't wealthy but maybe for a rent.. ;(

What's my next step? Homeless with broken leg? (I KNOW, again, this LEG)..
