The only foreign planes here right now are Canadian and British I kinda trust the Australians. (Maybe I shouldn't.) They don't visit very much. I like this new Brazilian administration! |

As I have always said, pilots can -- and should -- shut OFF ads-b in combat and should be expected to do so. It should be assumed they do. There are reasons to track those flights however which permit broadcasting on that frequency. By doing so, we might get a glimpse of what theaters might be areas of concern to the military in general and we may be able to monitor some of the discrete but not totally secret activities of the world's governments and militaries. Just my .02 |
