Someone really should have said something if the redcoats were coming so we could put out the tea towels and such.

It just makes me uncomfortable when any foreign nation's military is in our country unnecessarily nowadays.

Exercises could be conducted any number of places. Unless they are practicing for combat on US soil...

The only foreign planes here right now are Canadian and British

I kinda trust the Australians.

(Maybe I shouldn't.)

They don't visit very much.

I like this new Brazilian administration!

"ProTip: #RCNavy ships could use only AIS-T (Shore-based, like the Australians) which would give plausible deniability that the transponder was out of range of the shore. She was last seen displaying herself as a pleasure craft; completely out of the ordinary for a Canadian ship."

"At 05:00Z on 2019-02-15 the #HMCSCharlottown, who met up with a flotilla of American warships and cargo ships, shut off her AIS-S.
The #USNavy ships were headed South, and were not (that I know of) part of the #USSAbrahamLincoln Carrier Strike Group."

As I have always said, pilots can -- and should -- shut OFF ads-b in combat and should be expected to do so.

It should be assumed they do.

There are reasons to track those flights however which permit broadcasting on that frequency. By doing so, we might get a glimpse of what theaters might be areas of concern to the military in general and we may be able to monitor some of the discrete but not totally secret activities of the world's governments and militaries.
