I was thinking it should start about Memorial Day (US), first part of June. That seems to be a good time to start a major War.

As shown by WW1 and Hitler waiting until August for the guns to start firing isn't so good for those starting a major War ... look at how WW1 worked out!!

If we can start it about June 1st we should have it over by Labor Day and thus still able to enjoy the US Football Season!! Sure the football teams might be minus a few players, and the fan ranks may be thinned a bit, but think of the emotional relief people will feel about being back to almost "normalcy" with a fall football season and a thanksgiving on the horizon that won't be bothered by War Talk!!

As for Soccer .... it isn't important to Americans. Just a bunch of skinny kids running up and down a field nonstop for a long long time. Sheesh ... a better option would be to just run a marathon around a track inside a stadium for all the excitement that the game of soccer creates.

Meanwhile, all of Europe, Asia, Africa and South America love soccer...
