Mattis in 1997.

Dunford in 2004.

None became generals under Obama.

It's not the Generals. Generals take orders. They fight when ordered to do so. They don't get to start wars.

Its the CIA. They encourage the president to go to war, based on their "intellegence."

Dude, the pressure on Trump has to be immense.

These are psychopaths, the same ones that started the wars in Iraq, Libya and so on.

Another war, another hundred thousands deaths, doesn't mean anything to them.

I can picture Trump sitting there and saying,

"I need more than a phoney gas attack to start a war!"

and these people sit there and asking:

"why"
"do you have morals"
"maybe you should step down"

Trump is playing along for now.

When were they promoted to 3 and 4 star? That is the issue. To become 3 or 4 you have to go through Senate Confirmation--people would have to take a keen look at their confirmation process, when, what was asked...etc. 3 & 4 stars are political figures. Trump would do well to not hire any of them for his cabinet--many POTUS' know this and only hire Cols and Lt. Cols or 1 & 2 stars.
