Re: We just went to the store to get last minute preps
If you see me in Walmart Saturday, I am not prepping. Those dam bees want 100#s of cane sugar and cat wants 30# of cat food.

At least I have something deadlier than those plunging AR15's at the farm.

It was funny watching swat not cross my place and head back to the road when they saw those bee nucs.

Costco was sampling Mt. House powdered eggs with smoked pork this week.

You need to store them in your prepped underground bunker already...

Things might go pear shape very quickly...

We have charged the rabbit, put fresh batteries in the dildo & butt plug, and have abundant dopes and alcoholic beverages.

Re: We just went to the store to get last minute preps
To me it is downright stupid to not have some level of preparedness.

Don't people camp anymore? Even basic camping skills and equipment is a good start. A tarp, some bungee cords and paracord are neccessities to me. Having 12-20 gallons of water seems reasonable (along with a mini Sawyer filter). A few weeks of food supplies can be cycled thru without straining your budget. A tent and sleeping bag put you that much further ahead.

Going beyond that, a good backpack, camp knives, a fishing set up, a fire starter and some UCO Storm Proof matches, a Streamlight Seige Lantern, a good LED flashlight and AA rechargeable batteries, hopefully a solar charger, a dependable bicycle (lots of used 90s era MTBs out there on Craigslist for cheap) set you up for a much easier life in case of a disaster situation.

I don't even feel like I'm set up as a prepper - just a sensible, outdoors capable person - and I'm set up better than 95% of the population.

Granted, I like camping and biking, so I'm already mostly set up for everything from a couple weeks in the woods to a month+ on the prowl after the SHTF.

....but if you aren't WTF is your reason? Are you afraid of the woods and camping? It's fun, beautiful, affordable and peaceful escape from the urban grind. I don't even really eat fish, but I love to fish. I love to bike. I love being outdoors and being able to live outdoors for a couple weeks with minimal outside contat.

Are the majority of people really so addicted to their smart phones and urban life they don't even appreciate getting away for a while? I feel sorry for you. You are missing out on life for a ridiculous parody.

I honestly hope there comes a point where all the completely unequipped and unskilled soy boys have to fend for themselves and going to Starbucks to start your day is no longer an option. Don't you ever think of what life is like removed from your urbann soy boy creature comforts?

Rofl at least OP is prepared. It's better to be safe than sorry. But now the whole town knows where to find water :P, and so does your delivery guy :(
