Elk bears and,other wildlife can make some very scary sounds that are out of the norm when in severe pain. The noises they make when being eaten alive from the ass end by the Yukon wolves being introduced around the PNW will curl your toes.

Funny he is working to get fish and game to do something to protect "the species"? When you find out what they are, you will be praying to be protected from them!

A Uncle was hunting deer with us around Silverlake Oregon and came back to camp after a morning hunt by himself ,he was white as a ghost,he packed all his stuff and left. The only thing he said was,he seen something he should never have seen? He soon sold or gave us his hunting and camping gear then swore he would never again go camping or hunting? He refuses to say anything beyond that. The man is still in total fear about it? That was in the 80s when it happened. Maybe he found Hillary?

I got into an ugly stick chunking match with some large critter East of Medford, Oregon back in 1989. My party was forced to un-ass the area when sticks progressed to logs.
