I keep it in my fridge and didn't know what to do with it now that I don't make bread sandwiches anymore. Anonymous Coward User ID: 63082821 United States 04/17/2018 02:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | chia seed pudding is freaking fabulous! this was the first time I made it but its a lot thicker now. It bulks up and thickens after a couple hours. Quoting: sluttina chia is also full of omega 3. I recently had my lipid panel and everything is perfect and my ldl is high because I eat a lot of omega 3 with this woe. The trick to keep bad cholesterol down and good up is by adding even a handful of walnuts after a meal if there is no omega 3 in it. Omega 3 works in the digestion preventing some of the bad cholesterol from absorbing hence keeping the numbers in check so it's good to have chia pudding for dessert. I put in a mason jar, 3 tablespoons of chia seeds, 2 tablespoons of ground flax, sweetener of your choice, I also add walnuts, a flavored extract (I like maple or banana flavor) and then I fill it up to the top line with an unsweetened vanilla flavored nut milk like almond. I stir, then I'll stir again in a couple hours, and maybe 1 more time before bed. It's super thick by morning. I had this with a little strawberries, I don't usually eat fruit but this was a treat! :chiapudding: Awww, this is one of my favorite breakfast treats, you stole my thunder lol (I use homemade cashew milk. It's soooooo creamy and slightly sweet.) and I buy chia seed by the pound Yummy! |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 76464639 United States 04/17/2018 02:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have no idea what this was but I'm so glad I did it! One thing I love about being hungry on keto is the focus and planning I have the time for. I already knew chicken thighs were going to be fried in butter and remembered I have half a head of cauliflower so I was just going to make a fried rice type meal in butter with green olives and olive juice but then I saw the spinach and knew it needed to be eaten before it wilted so I put that in with the cauliflower rice and I thought, this would be good creamed, I have some coconut milk so I put most of the cream part in and just a couple splashes of the water to thin it out. Ahhh, it's going to need flavor to come through that coconut so I pulled out my favorite curry and just dumped it in there along with some MSG free Vegeta. and wallah :chickenthighs: oops sorry about the big black mark, that's just my testosterone hair lol. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 76464639 United States 04/17/2018 02:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I go through spurts craving cabbage, this is just a basic simple recipe. I freeze the cabbage over night and boil, the leaves tear and break apart if it's not frozen first, they come off easier this way. I usually brown a pound of ground pork and 1 pound ground turkey in onion and seasoning. when it's done I add a jar of sauerkraut and mix that with the meat. while that's cooling I peel the layers off the cabbage then roll and bake! :cabbageketo: |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74989921 I started a 100 carb a day diet-it works as I lost 30 lbs before on it-and need to know the exact amounts of things. Thanks in advance! oh goodness! I'll try but the carbs are mainly in the veggies and I choose lowest carb veggies most times. I'm not a calorie or carb counter but I do keep my carbs under 20 a day and that's with just 1 to 2 meals. |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 76464639 United States 04/17/2018 02:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Egg roll in a bowl. Lots of cabbage and a few shredded carrots and onions, and then whatever else you like in your eggrolls. for me, it's sprouts and mushrooms. The stirfry it very fast at very high heat in sesame oil and soy sauce. Only for 3 minutes tops. Then top it off with sesame seeds and eat it straight from the bowl. Low carb, lots of gooooood veggies to clear the pipes. It's really good if you crack an egg in it too, or add pork if you eat meat or eggs. Sometimes I top it off with low carb sweet and sour sauce too that I make from stevia that I grow and dry in my back yard. Green stevia's a lot more versatile than people think as a sweetener. I just grow my low carb sweets :D Quoting: It's Time ive been wanting to try this! |

If you have any of your own please share them. Quoting: sluttina ketogenic is a low carb high fat woe (way of eating), typically no grain carbs but I like to have a low carb tortilla every now and then. food prep is very important and bacon is a staple. I fry at least 3 pounds every 2 weeks. I've tried so many methods on how to keep the splatter at bay, baking frying, I was always getting a huge mess until I saw one of these on the internet, a splatter guard. :splatterguard: It comes in 10 inch and 12 inch, I haven't tried it yet I was just seeing how it fits on a 12 inch pan. I ordered it directly from China at aliexpress and it's way cheaper than going through a middle man, 1/3 of the price, I paid $10. waiting for bacon pic to upload, the easiest method I found was to chop up the bacon into bits and it's just the way everyone likes it. Thank you I sold with you earlier about my keto or low carb 20 lb weight loss thanks! |

I didn't know how it was supposed to be cooked so I fried it. the best part was the brussles sprouts baked in bacon grease, onion and then bacon added when it's almost finished. A member here gave me that recipe a long time ago and it's the best sprouts recipe, in fact I think that was her name. :cubedpork: |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 76464639 United States 04/17/2018 03:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | best fucking keto cheesecake. When I make this, it's all I eat for a couple days, I don't eat anything else and I have it with coffee. I do use splenda with it, but because i rarely use sweetners I get away with it and it doesn't effect my sugar. keto cheesecake, with a pecan, walnut, almond flour, cinnamon, vanilla, 6 packets of splenda and butter crust, I didn't measure but I stopped pulsating it in the food processor because it started to look like it was turning into peanut butter. I bake the crust on 300 for 25 minutes, then let it cool before putting the cake in it. the filling is just 1 package of cream cheese and a whole container of cool whip with 8 packets of splenda and a couple splashes of vanilla whipped up, but you can use a pint of whipping cream instead of the cool whip, cool whip does have sugar in it, the amount doesn't spike my sugar and I still maintain my weight. Don't use the cool whip if you have health issues like diabetes. best fucking pie. :ketocheesecake: |
