it helps people lose weight but for me it's also to keep health problems away like diabetes. I want to be proactive and not wait for something like that to happen first. I'd rather it not happen at all and I like the way keto makes me feel, satiated.

It doesn't make any sense to me. genetics, i know my family has a starvation gene, I'm the first generation to not experience starvation in a long time. they didn't have fertile land. and that gene causes diabetes.
