Can You Slander a Dead Person?
I saw on another forum that Art Bell killed his first Asian wife because she got old and he needed to trade up and get a young wife.

Obviously, just someone shooting off their mouth with no evidence. But since everyone is suing everyone right now, I'm wondering if his family could sue over this? Since the guy is dead are there damages?

Not a lawyer, this isn't legal advice, etc, but it looks to me like such a suit can only happen if it was started before the person died; the estate can continue an existing suit, but not generate a new one.

Good find. I think his widow could be damaged. Not from some tard off the internet, but if someone wrote a biography that lambasted Art Bell then if he has anything (books, memorabilia, whatever) that his widow tried to offer up to fans they could be upset with the person they thought they knew and then not buy. Hard to prove amount of damages in such a case.

I like this saying a lot. The Cherokee Elders are very wise.
