I was in the thick of it when Pittsburgh hosted G-20. Attending college. Helicopters, LRADs, riot squad lines, tear gas. I had to reverse drive a 3 lane one way past a SWAT vehicle parked in the middle because there was a riot squad blocking my forward egress. Thousands of people in the square protesting.

It was no joke.

It's going to be an interesting summer.
