“Good people lie. I think I’m a good person, where I have lied,” Comey said. “I still believe Andrew McCabe is a good person but the inspector general found he lied.”
Comey added that there are “severe consequences” within the Justice Department and the FBI for those who lie.
Quoting: ~kpm~ Comey is admitting he lied and says the same about McCabe. Lying must be okay if the bullshit is spewing out of Comey's mouth, but not okay it it's coming out of someone else's. Lying apparently depends on the meaning of "is" is. . Good people, meaning them, lied to sway our election, in their minds it was for the greater good. See they wanted desperately to clear up Clinton’s pile of chit so that when she won it was not tainted, she would have nothing clouding her rein of terror. Add to that, McCabe recused himself from both her investigations days before the election.... Comey said he doesn’t agree Trump should be impeached but that we should all live with our mistake...... ”I'll give you a strange answer," Comey said when the question was put to him by ABC's George Stephanopoulos during their interview.
"I hope not, because I think impeaching and removing Donald Trump from office would let the American people off the hook and have something happen indirectly that I believe they're duty bound to do directly."
His argument, in short, is that American voters should reap what they've sown.
