Banning is a bit much. A warning label would suffice:
"This publication contains doctrine known to the state of California to cause wars and devastation."

California Assembly Bill (A.B.) 2943 has nothing to do with Bibles and/or the sale of Bibles. It is about preventing retarded thumpers from doing immeasurable psychological damage to others by forcing them into “sexual orientation change efforts” (SOCE) (aka gay-conversion therapy) In short, it would not allow anyone to advertise gay-conversion therapy or perform the abhorrent practice for profit.

It's already illegal to do so on children in California.

It WOULD make it illegal for pastors and other religious 'professionals' from hiding behind their belief system to damage people psychologically for profit by performing gay-conversion therapy for a fee, as the law would not limit the prohibition to licensed mental health professionals. Under the law, gay-conversion therapy is defined as "any practices by mental health providers that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation. This includes efforts to change behaviors or gender expressions, or to eliminate or reduce sexual or romantic attractions or feelings toward individuals of the same sex.”

Honestly, I think that the law as it's written is legislative overreach - if adults want to spend their money to pay someone to try to convince them to like junk other than the junk they were born with, that should be their right. But to write that California is trying to ban the sale of Bibles is not just inaccurate, it's libelous.
