Would like to know the follow-up of how the author's grandmother and her older sister escaped slavery from her families' murderers and made it to America. I'm sure that they were loyal, loving US Citizens and so very thankful to their new homeland. These are the kinds of immigrants we should all heartily embrace. Kudos that they never lost their faith too.

Thousands of anti-government protesters have taken to the streets in Armenia. In response to opposition demands, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan has stepped down. The following quotes taken from the article describe the reaction following Sargsyan's removal....

"Thousands of people are on the streets, cheering and hugging each other, jumping up and down and honking their horns ... things happened so quickly, I don't think the crowd was expecting this but it is exactly what they wanted."

"We saw soldiers take to the streets, we saw priests, children and their parents, young and old coming out to show Armenia was really united in wanting these changes."

"This is an indication of how much people in Armenia have realized that they had the power to affect change in a system that was widely regarded as corrupt."
