Women obsessed with horses are some of the most stable, observant, hard working women I have ever met.

A horse is not like a cat or a dog that you pretty much just feed and dispose of their waste.

Horses are demanding. You have to respect the power they have and also mindful of their fragility and notice small pains or ailments before they cost the horse it's life.

I'm around horses almost everyday for half the year, but I don't work with or handle them. I admire the skills and knowledge of those who do - male or female.
