Growing up around a bunch a cowboys, it's something I noticed.

Just based on what I saw in college, if they had a horse it meant their parents were well off, they were spoiled as shit, told they were princesses their whole life, and were the most controlling women you would ever meet. Just my experience but just about every one of them in the ag department were straight up controlling bitches, they get off on that power shit. The guys that didn't know better ended up being treated just like their horse, broken and submissive. There were some that were normal but it was rare.

Yes I have noticed that too once I started riding.

The women who would train and teach, as well as the girls who had been riding their whole lives, were really dominant types who seemed to get off on the control aspect.

Here is the short version of my crazy horse lady story: My ex grew up exercising the horses at a large Midwestern university where his father was a professor in the ag department. I didn't know that, though, and we always lived in town/suburbs.

Fast forward years and the (now ex) hooked up with a woman from work (a large ag company) who was a horse/mule lady. She decided she wanted him, so she bought him a $12K mule and gear so he would go trail riding with her. She bought herself a boob job and eyelift for him. She took him on trips all over the country and he lied to me saying he was going on work trips, which I didn't question because he is a salesman and always travels. Then they finagled a transfer for him to KS headquarters where she lived. This cost me a ton in salary, retraining/certification, & my pension - and I was still unaware of the affair.

She was married, but refused to divorce her husband because she didn't want to split their assets and told my ex she would see her husband dead first. He was sick with diabetes and had a MRSA type thing in his skin. She was some high-ranking dietician, and while she could have helped him with her knowledge, she instead left him alone for days to fend for himself while she was romping around with my (now ex) husband. Her husband finally died (she cremated him immediately and didn't even bother with a public funeral - won't even go into other things I know about that situation).

My ex and she finally broke up when he discovered she had other married men on the hook (stupid bastard). When I found out, I publicly outed her and she ended up moving back to her home county to work in ag/meat science dept. at the local state university. So, one more story to add to the ultra-crazy horse lady tales.
