MSNBC is now reporting on a recently published story from the NYT detailing a list of questions that Mueller sent the Trump team last month (in March) but lawyers advised Trump at that time not to be interviewed by Mueller. The supposed list can be see in the article... It's incredulous to see what this "investigation" has turned into. Why hasn't Trump just fired these people? The only reason I can think of why he hasn't is because there is a joint effort to continue the chaos and distraction, but for what reason? It's clear they are banging the war drums against Iran now, and Trump has threatened to "close down the country in September" if the wall doesn't get completed. Today, Netanyahu bumped up his anti-Iranian rhetoric, seemingly hoping to get an arousal out of the people to agree that Iran is the devil and the troublemaker in the region. It sure seems like they are planning an all-out war against Iran beginning in September, with a "closing down" of the U.S. at that time. Anyone else have an idea of what might be planned for the U.S. at that point? I actually believe Trump thinks this investigation is political gold. It distracts the MSM from much of what he is doing and it sets him perfectly up as the victim, so voters will pay little attention to any issues of substance, but will vote to stick it to the Deep State and MSM, giving Trump another 4 years. Without the investigation, things would probably be more difficult for DT, now it is all about the investigation and the only thing that matters. My guess is it will become another spectacular Progressive / Democrat backfire. |
