The washer has been less trouble than the dryer, but the fixes are more expensive. The ejection pump has gone out 3x. Each time it fries something on the motherboard. Stupid design as well. THe motherboard is dipped in an inch of glue so you can't just replace something on it easy.

The dryer is something all the time but it's mostly due to cheap parts. THey don't use bearings and the pulley that puts tension on the belt has lasted 5 years or 6 months take your pick. Cheap parts. I'd spend 20 bucks on a part if it was designed properly vs the 10 buck pos. It's a racket.

I swear, if I had enough capital I would start my own appliance company and put these crackers out of business.

Had a samsung fridge that crapped the bed at 6 years. Pump went out. 600 to replace? Buy a new one is the only realistic option.
