On Monday, the Assistant Attorney General said in a letter that the DOJ would not be handing over the unredacted Rosenstein memo detailing Mueller’s scope.

In response, Freedom Caucus Chairman, Mark Meadows drafted “articles of impeachment” against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as a “last resort.”

On Tuesday, Rosenstein freaked and referred to the impeachment threat as “extortion.”

On Wednesday morning, in response to the stonewalling by the DOJ, Trump threatened to use his presidential powers in order to get the unredacted Rosenstein memo.

In the EDVA, Mueller’s team is tryin’ to maintain jurisdiction without filin’ additional National Security crimes against Manafort to keep the cat in the bag until they get to the big fish.

At worse, Mueller will defer the case to another venue. Manafort will not go free.

It's called a 'rollup'. Same way Mueller did the little fish first so that he could eventually cuff the kingpin.

I don't believe he lost his temper, he was just skeptical of both sides, prosecutor AND defendant both got the tough questions. He did what any good high ranking Federal judge would have done, and probed each side. If you read the notes he is not hostile to the prosecution really, he just wants some basic answers from each side.

They are just pissed they could not get a biased Never-Trumper judge to hear their case.

A federal judge in Washington DC is proceeding with the criminal case brought forward by special counsel Robert Mueller, regarding Paul Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman.
US district judge Amy Jackson declined to throw out the case against Manafort, who faces two indictments from the special counsel.
"Given the combination of his prominence within the campaign and his ties to Ukrainian officials supported by and operating out of Russia, as well as to Russian oligarchs, Manafort was an obvious person of interest," the ruling said.

A federal judge in Washington DC is proceeding with the criminal case brought forward by special counsel Robert Mueller, regarding Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman.

US district judge Amy Jackson declined to throw out the case against Manafort, who faces two indictments from the special counsel. Manafort is charged in Virginia and Washington with tax and bank fraud connected to his lobbying work for the Ukrainian government and pro-Russia interests in Ukraine.

The judge deemed that the indictment "falls squarely within that portion of the authority granted to the Special Counsel."

Mueller Reveals Basis for Manafort Probe to Skeptical Judge

Special Counsel Robert Mueller gave a judge the complete three-page memo that the prosecutor overseeing the Russia investigation wrote to justify the probe of Paul Manafort, chairman of the Donald Trump presidential campaign.

U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III ordered Mueller’s prosecutors to provide him an unredacted version of the memo that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein wrote on Aug. 2, 2017, about why Manafort was a target of the special counsel.

Ellis made the demand at a May 4 court hearing in Alexandria, Virginia, to consider Manafort’s argument that Mueller overstepped his appointment authority, and the indictment should be dismissed.
