I don't know if CyberspaceOrbit had a forum, but Kent delegated/told/asked/begged making a forum to Elaine. the rest is history. I believe the name, GLP, was her pronouncement about the quality of the product. It certainly wasn't to attract Christians.

Started with Kent Steadman on cyberspace orbit. The message board got too busy for him and a member Elaine offered to move everyone over to her own forum. Don't know if she sold it to Trinity or how he took it over. I was on Kent Steadman boards before 2000...maybe back to 98?

It just evolved into what it is today from the previous owners.

Trinity bought it about 2005. Upon reflection, There was something about her using her daughters existing website, so maybe her daughter named it.

Yep, it's not like GLP started because of Trump and Politics, it was just a quirky corner of the internet until the world went INSANE!!

I remember it back to that mid nineties era. Cyberspace orbit was a repository of some fringe speculation and had a very unique look and architecture for the time. So strange to think about those early days of the internet and what has evolved. I'm sure the emperor is amused about it all somewhere.
