Is the US Embassy in Jerusalem the abomination that maketh desolate?

Daniel 9:27
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Daniel 11:31
And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

That will be in the Third Temple. It has not been built yet.

Daniel 12:11
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

I think that is false prophecy

It will never be built in this world

the abomination of desolation comes only after Iran

is wiped off the face of the earth.

It will be a muslim leader, probably from the Middle East.

No where in the Bible does it say that the third temple will be rebuilt, in this world

The third temple will be built by The Branch, when He returns to take His kingdom. There is no scripture I have seen that says the third temple has to be built for the AoD to occur. This verse is often quoted to say the temple must be built:

Those are Strongs numbers after the words. Look up the word for temple, G3485. It is NAOS, which means an inner shrine. The temple complex as discussed in the gospels, is HEIRON. So what is defiled is an inner shrine or holy place. What happened in the first example of the AOD? Antiochus offered a pig on the altar to Zeus. The altar is where the priests would lay the body of the lamb, after they killed it outside the camp. There is such an altar already standing in Jerusalem. It is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and it has an inner shrine that holds the rock slab upon which the Body of the Lamb was laid, after being killed without the camp.

I am not saying a third temple will not be built, but what is necessary for the scriptures to be fulfilled is already in place. If it gets defiled, it would be a great sign.
