Why is that? Quoting: Comperio Did you know that Curiosity is closely related with Logic and Love? and the will to power |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76235389 Just going by what my understanding of what curiosity may mean. Good thread by the way, made me use my brain :) Always welcome. The point of this thread is to poke your Curiosity....to make one ponder a bit....to use you own curiosity to explore Curiosity - because its there, its real and Einstein even called it "holy" He repeatedly said " Never lose a holy curiosity" ...wonder what he knew? Perhaps he realized that Curiosity, Love and Logic is a trinity. If you where to look at the trinity "Mother, Father and Child"..would you not see C, L and L too? "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. Never lose a holy curiosity. Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance." Will must be the fundamental force - because it takes Will to raise the Question. "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. A wink of possible fortune. and hopefully no STDs. Lol, just playin |
Comperio (OP) User ID: 75890248 Denmark 05/16/2018 12:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For the record. Quoting: Comperio A layman's view. From a scientific and philosophical point of view - there is a huge amount of evidence that the Singularity is Consciousness. Logically the singularity is purely metaphysical, in the sense that "it" is pre-STEM (SpaceTime, Energy and Matter), but it nevertheless created STEM - and therefore is an intricate part of what we call reality. It is the stillpoint, it has geometry (vector equilibrium), functionality (torus dynamics) and a computational processing structure. It manifests in a binary form to process, comprehend and create. It is what we would call "knowledgeable", "intelligent", "alive" and "sentient". It is definable, understandable and not really that singular after all. It is you. It is me. It is our world as we know it. It is Life in any form. It is what we all share. Unity. But it is also a process. A learning process. When its information density reaches a threshold it manifests in matter. At the core it is The Narrative of Consciousness, that goes something like this: "Emotions of Love creates the energy that Logic needs to process questions raised by Curiosity" ..... if you contemplate this a bit, you will see that this is the recipe for Intelligence and all the faculties you would need to create anything conceivable. You will also recognize that you are Love, Logic and Curiosity yourself. Love, Logic and Curiosity are the fundamental faculties of Consciousness, and thus the Singularity and thus you. Isn't that an intriguing thought? You as a fractal of the singularity, of all-that-is? "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. Never lose a holy curiosity. Condemnation without investigation is the height of ignorance." Albert Einstein |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76547585 United States 05/16/2018 12:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Animals are curious in nature, especially the young, I would say we almost replace curiosity with wisdom/knowledge. Some continue to be curious as it’s their nature to not think they know it all. Others stop being curious and think they know better. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29734028 Exactly. Curiosity is a trait of Nature....you can see it in all living things. Trial, error, correction. In humans it tend to be suppressed by dogma, doctrines and discourse, and many discard their curiosity while being "educated". [pI think that when you stop being curious - you start to die. The desire to know. Then comes the motive — which can be positive or negative. |
