Seth Goz remembers the first day he stood looking up at the building near Cherokee Street.

It was 2016 and Goz suspected the brick duplex was listed well under its true value in the up-and-coming St. Louis neighborhood.

Then he spotted something unexpected.

“I was like, yeah, that’s definitely a swastika,” Goz said. “You can’t miss it.”
