About an hour after I said a prayer for their souls to go to Heaven, I was making lunch at about 1/4 to 1pm and had the news on the TV. There was word that "There may have been THREE SURVIVORS." Sometimes my antennae pick up things very sharply from above.  |

According to the same official Cuban news service, the latest is that ALL the passengers were tourists, so there may have been some Americans onboard. Tourists, in the sense that none of the victims were Cuban citizens, according to the article: "A commercial aircraft operated by the Cubana de Aviación company, model Boeing 737, crashed Friday near Havana shortly after taking off from the José Martí airport, located in the capital of Cuba. In the aircraft, which belongs to Damojh Aerolíneas SA, 105 people were traveling all of them foreigners (between passengers and crew). According to Granma, the official newspaper of the Cuban government, three passengers have managed to survive, but they are hospitalized and in critical condition.
