They do a great job of keeping prices down by selling store branded products and keeping the store layout bland let's say. I only shop at this for most of my food. The Toronto Star has been in a war with Loblaws in recent months for various reasons, they always have a company on target at any time they are trying to destroy. All I know is that the points cards for what used to be President's Choice now also work at a bunch of other places because some behemoth corporation bought another and now all my purchasing habits are with whoever now...
