This site has exposed me to so much HORROR throughout the years.

I'm putting my foot down God dammit!

I did list a warning, but being a first responder for 2-3 years, you get used to seeing it on a daily basis and it doesn't effect you anymore. You would be surprised to what I have seen in life in accidents.

Wasn't that bad .. Still sucks.. The worst part for most is it makes them realize their own mortality...

True, he probably never felt a thing, it was instant.

The truck probably weighed at least 15 tons or more.

Thats just it.
That guy probably thought he was going home at the end of the day.
Probably had all sorts of future plans made and wasnt thinking anything about dying and fate dealt him a different hand.

He probably didnt think he was in trouble until it was too late and he realized all of sudden that he was going to die.

Thats just exactly how it happens.

Well, you never know when it is going to be your time.

You could be heading to work tomorrow and someone pulls out in front of you and hits you head on.

Or you could have a heart attack tonight.



Life is short. None of us knows when we are going to die. I would probably not want to know the day of my death anyway.

YEAH RIGHT. The first thing a person does when they happen upon something like this is pull out their phone and start filming, INSTEAD OF MOVING THE FUCKING TRUCK AND RELEASING THE PERSON!

Probably waiting for police or whatever they have. Or someone to write up a report. Nothing else they could have done for the poor man.

I come to think of these things often.. Particularly while out on the road with the crazies...

Meanwhile the crushed guy looks all serene. Like this look of zen as he stares at the sun in his shades

That happened at a trucking company I worked for.
The guys were in line checking in and one didn't lock his brakes. The guard walked in between trucks and was pinned.

I was never a first responder ... but saw a lot of death in Afghanistan... not sure I would say I ever got the point it never effected me anymore even after 4 tours .... I don't see how death cannot effect effect Human being being each time ... not sure I could ever get used to heads and limbs missing ... interesting it doesn't effect you anymore
